NHTSA & Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Course

This weekend Kirk Anderson will be attending the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (“NHTSA”), Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (“SFST”), 24-hour course in Atlanta, GA, and will become trained to administer and interpret the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, Walk and Turn, and One Leg Stand tests just as law enforcement officers are when they are ‘investigating’ a suspected DWI.

This training will allow Mr. Anderson and his colleagues to more effectively defend DWI/OWI charges by being able to identify mistakes made by officers while conducting Field Sobriety Tests, and to vigorously cross-examine those same officers using their own training manuals against them.

Updates will be provided over the weekend.
